Tillamook County Habitat for Humanity receives a $20,000 grant from the Taylor and Alice Alexander Fund of The Oregon Community Foundation. The award was presented by Adella Macdonald at the May 24th Board Meeting located at the New Habitat Home prior to the House Dedication.
The grant is awarded for hiring a part-time ReStore Assistant. The mission of the Tillamook County Habitat for Humanity is creating a world where everyone has a decent place to live. The ReStore helps support the building program and is open Monday-Saturday 9-5pm.
The mission of The Oregon Community Foundation is to improve lives for all Oregonians through the power of philanthropy. OCF works with individuals, families, businesses and organizations to create charitable funds to support the community causes they care about. Through these funds, in 2015 OCF awarded more than $100 million in grants and scholarships.
