Hello Prayer Partners!

Attached you will find the July 2017 Prayer Partner Guide! We have had MANY answers to pray this past month with a few major highlights being:

*We have a new lead builder volunteer James who is leading the charge on the Miller House! Along with our dedicated volunteer electrician Dale & our Board Vice President Bob! Yea for skilled laborers!!!! Check out our facebook page to see pictures of the progress:

https://www.facebook.com/tillamookhabitat/

*Our 2017-18 budget was approved by the Board of Directors! (Boring to some…exciting to me)!!!!

*We received an unsolicited donation from an anonymous donor in the amount of $15,000 to go towards are Ramps & Rails Program that serves Veterans with home modifications to help reduce fall-risks! Wow wow wow! Praise the Lord!

*Our new website has been well received (check it out if you have not www.tillamookhabitat.org)

*Our Office Manager Linda and the Youth from Tillamook Nazarene had a safe and worthwhile mission trip while in Mexico building homes. There were 7 people who got baptized while there (1 being our very own Linda)!!!!

*Our goal for 2016-17 was to tithe a total of $15,000 to build homes internationally. This was an aggressive increase of 30 times what was tithed in 2014-15 and for us it meant stepping out in faith believing the Lord would provide. We ended the year with a total of $16,205.29 tithed to the Global Fund which supports the greatest housing needs in countries such as Kenya, Romania, Hungary, & Columbia. Literally .10 cents of every dollar raised through ReStore Sales and unrestricted donations is being used to change lives around the world! This is sooooo exciting!

“Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this,” says the LORD Almighty, “and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it.” Malachi 3:10

*We hired a new staff member named Victor (who is also a Habitat Home Owner) to work in the ReStore and he has been SUCH a blessing!

*We have partnered Wilson River High School and their Summer Youth Crew and they will be working on the Miller House and at the ReStore this

summer! They have been a HUGE blessing to us and they are learning vital skills for their future success!

*We will be signing closing documents this month on the property in down town Tillamook donated by Wells Fargo! This property currently has an old un-repairable/abandoned house on it that will be torn down to make room for new! We are hoping to build multiple homes on this property!

Thank you for your prayer support! I can feel the impact and it gives me the extra “umph” I need to keep running the race, knowing that we are seeking to bring the Lord glory through everything He does for us! What a BIG God we serve!
