Job Description
This position is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the Tillamook County Habitat for Humanity ReStore. The ReStore Manager is expected to perform all tasks safely, efficiently, and effectively, and to use polite and respectful communication with staff, volunteers and customers. This position must be open to trying new avenues, such as days and hours the store is open, donation avenues and all-over funding.
Key Responsibilities
- Planning and Organization
o Tracking movement of merchandise and re-stocking retail areas as needed.
o Identify gaps, problems, and concerns.
o Make a plan of action to address issues by stock rotation, too keep interest high. - Manage Day-to-Day Activities of the ReStore
o General oversight of ReStore operations including but not limited tracking sales, closing tills, running register, assisting receiving and processing donation, scheduling donation pickup and more
o Daily scheduling, coordination and supervision of staff and all volunteers
o Up-dating training program and training of new ReStore volunteers
o Train cashiers and coordinate training for volunteer
o Serve as the back-up driver for donation pick-ups as needed
o Act as on-site Safety Coordinator and/or Inspector, lead Safety Meetings
o Oversee display and organization of sales floor and back-room.
o Oversee back-room flow from drop-off and clean-up to pricing and placement
o Provide and demonstrate excellent customer service
o Uphold all TCHFH and ReStore policies
o Other duties as assigned - Public Relations/Marketing
o Call on and become familiar with vendors in area to secure donations
o Outreach for TCHFH throughout the community
o Maintain a positive image of TCHFH by keeping in touch with local businesses
o Development, expansion and implementing of marketing in store on our website and on social media to increase donations and sales - Events
o Work with the E D & staff in planning which community events are important to TCHFH on an annual basis and help to develop the budget for these events

o Home Dedication
o Pledge Drives
o Tillamook County Fair and more
o Participate in & assist in gathering and mainlining supplies for events.
o Create and order any swag needed for these events - Fundraising
o Help organize TCHFH annual auction, seek donations and sponsors
o Development and implementation of other fundraising events
